YOUR GAME. YOUR CHOICES.

Privacy policy

Effective October 30, 2026

This policy explains how information is handled by the Twice as Tricky game and twiceastricky.com. For a privacy question or deletion request, use our support form and choose “Privacy request.”

Your game progress

The game stores your progress, move history, completed levels, rewards, appearance choices, audio settings, hint credits, and update-reminder preferences on your device. It also keeps a local record of recognized purchases. These records let the game resume where you left off. There is currently no player account or cloud-save service operated by Twice as Tricky.

You can remove local game data through your device's app-storage settings or by uninstalling the game. This removes local progress; it does not cancel or refund purchases made through Google Play. Your device or operating system may handle backups according to its own settings.

Advertising and consent

The Android game integrates Google AdMob and Google's User Messaging Platform for ads and consent choices. Test builds may show sample ads; advertising services can still process technical information when contacted. When used, Google's advertising SDK may collect IP addresses (including approximate location inferred from IP), device or account identifiers such as advertising IDs, app and ad interactions, and diagnostic or performance information. Google uses this information for advertising, measurement, fraud prevention, security, and service operation.

Where required, the game presents Google's consent form. Available consent choices can be revisited through the game's advertising privacy controls. You can also manage advertising preferences through your Android or Google settings. Choosing not to watch an optional hint ad does not prevent you from playing the puzzles.

See Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from partner apps. Windows playtest builds do not request mobile ads.

Purchases and update checks

Google Play handles Android purchases, including payment information. The game uses Unity In-App Purchasing to request product details, process purchase results, and restore recognized purchases. Transaction identifiers, receipts or purchase tokens, product identifiers, entitlement status, installation and session identifiers, device model, operating-system version, language, and approximate country may be processed by the store and purchasing services to operate purchases, prevent fraud, and report transactions. We do not receive your full payment-card details.

The game checks Google Play for updates available to your installation. These checks require communication with Google Play; the website does not host your game progress. For the service providers' practices, see Google's Privacy Policy and Unity's Privacy Policy.

This website and support messages

This website does not use advertising trackers or audience-analytics tools. The hosting server may record routine request information, including IP address, time, requested page, and browser information, to deliver the website and investigate faults or abuse.

The support form collects your name, email address, chosen topic, and message. We use these to respond, troubleshoot, handle privacy requests, and maintain relevant support correspondence. Messages are forwarded to our support inbox hosted by Gmail. Do not include passwords, payment-card information, or other sensitive material.

The form uses a short-lived, essential session cookie to protect submissions. Google reCAPTCHA is loaded on the support page and may process browser, device, network, cookie, and interaction information to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated abuse. Google processes this verification data on our behalf for security, fraud, and abuse prevention. Our form also keeps temporary, hashed network identifiers to limit repeated submissions.

Sharing, retention, and your choices

Information is shared with the hosting, email, advertising, verification, and purchase providers described above when needed to operate those features. We do not sell support messages or your locally stored puzzle progress. Advertising providers' data uses are described in their policies and your available consent choices.

Local game records remain until removed from your device. Support correspondence is retained as needed to handle the request, maintain a record of its resolution, or meet applicable legal obligations. Hosting and service-provider records follow those providers' retention practices. Temporary form rate-limit records expire after one hour and are periodically cleaned up.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or an objection to certain processing. Contact us through the support form. We may need information to verify a request. For data controlled independently by Google, Unity, or your platform provider, use that provider's privacy tools as well.

Children and sensitive information

The game does not ask players to create a profile or provide their age, contacts, photos, microphone recordings, or precise GPS location. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through the support form, contact us so we can investigate and remove it where appropriate.

Security and policy updates

The website uses HTTPS. Support-form secrets are kept on the server, and forms include verification and abuse controls. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

We may update this policy when features or data practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be reflected here and in the game where appropriate.
